Travel notes

Why go to Bangkok

Bangkok rewards early starts and late nights. Temples before nine, an air-conditioned museum or mall in the heat, then street food and a rooftop after dark.

Use the river boats and BTS rather than taxis — traffic will eat an afternoon otherwise.
